Where has the time gone!
We really should be updating the blog a lot more.
Since April we've been up to a lot of good things.

Through the various holidays Shineco continues to give back, donating gift certificates to local charities that auction them off.

Some free carpet cleanings have been given to local families who were struggling with health issues or other challenges.

Business wise we've added tile and grout cleaning services using Green Seal Certified detergents and environmentally friendly processes. -Results pictures coming in a future post.

Over the summer we've done vehicle detailing both large and small. Some basic detailing and some complete shampooing of seats and carpets in the vehicle.

We have also partnered with Norwex products for home and business owners who'd like to experience chemical free cleaning. These products are great and you need to give them a try.

In the next month or so you will see the website at this address completely updated and the blog relocated.

Survey Results Surprising!

A recent survey on Cleanfax.com, a website for professional carpet cleaners revealed that only 67% of survey respondents pre-vacuum every time before cleaning a customers carpet. Shineco Cleaning Services is different we pre-vacuum with a Commercial Quality Dual Motor vacuum with HEPA filtration every time. The machine has two motors one for the vacuum and one form the brush roll, this helps to get as much dirt as possible out of the carpet and your home or business. HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air. 

Now pre-vacuum is an industry term meaning that you vacuum before cleaning. Even if the customer has vacuumed, this commercial machine will remove additional dry soil. We also vacuum baseboards and the occasional vent if we notice dust there. Here's a picture of Craig pre-vacuuming.

Not only does pre-vacuuming help remove dry soils and loose items it gives the operator ample opportunity to check the surface for stains and pulls in the carpet and address these issues.

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to do a sample cleaning for a local photographer -Stephanie Canada.

This wonderful woman is able to balance life with and family, business and still has time to give back to her community.

O.k so I've been hearing about Black Friday deals for at least a week now.

You can get deal on electronics, appliances pretty much anything is on sale.

Shineco Cleaning Services Reviewed by Local Blogger

A week or two ago I cleaned some carpet for a friend I know in Waterloo.

First let me say that cleaning lighter coloured carpets make me a little nervous. I'm not sure exactly why - I think its that I want to see them completely restored. This is one of the reasons I like to remove as much furniture as possible before cleaning an area. This is the first demonstration cleaning I've done and I couldn't have picked a better reviewer.

The reviewer is a mother of two, a wife, homemaker and nearly full-time blogger.

She has a great story of a quest for health, beauty and family.

Her blogs are about the products and services that help to achieve these goals.

"The process uses less water so our carpets were dry within 1.5 hours. What I loved is the lack of strong scent.
